We are unique. Our professionals delivering services are also confronting life-altering illness as are our clients. We are “Wounded Healers”.

Our philosophy is alleviation of suffering through compassion, utilizing complementary and integrative treatments.
 
sharingVillage Survivor Groups’ services are all free.
Our support groups, individual attention, lectures, yoga, acupuncture, meditation, nutritional advice, mentoring, (couples or individual), navigation, advocacy or any equine facilitated activity are free because of you our extended family. We do not own any horses, we gratefully accept them on loan through the generosity of their owners.
 
sharingVillage Survivor Groups is funded by private foundations and individuals like you. We do not solicit our families or patients. We do not share family names nor sell our lists to others.

Your dollars never leave the community.
They remain within our program and do not return in any form to a national or parent organization. We do not own a building, we are not chaptered nor are we a franchise.

Our accounting and legal firms are pro bono.

Our administrative space is donated.

More than 85% of your dollar goes directly toward patient and survivor care.

JOHNSON MEDICAL SCHOOL, and the Pediatric LITE Program of THE CANCER INSTITUTE OF NJ all known for excellence of service. Selected physicians and institutes from COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY, WEILL- CORNELL MEDICAL COLLEGE, The CAROL G SIMON CANCER CENTER and THE NATIONAL CANCER INSTITUTE assist in the delivery or our compassionate service.
 
We are 100% integrative with the medical community and 98% physician and hospital referred. Physicians and hospitals donate their space to us. Most importantly, they entrust their non-medical complementary and integrative patient care to us.
